Linking two Rotary programmes - Youth Exchange and the Ambassadorial Scholarships - allowed us to bring together a wonderful group for a trip to the Tower Hill Landmark Trust property in the City of St Davids on the west coast of Wales. Lorna and I were joined by Niki and Hana from the Czech Republic and Asca and Maiko from Japan for three days and two nights in what has to be the warmest Landmark Trust property we have visited!
Thw 220 mile trek over to St Davids did give us a few hours...

The tiny island of Lundy can be found a few miles from the Devon coast, not far from Bideford and Ilfracombe. It is owned and managed by the Landmark Trust and they have several properties on the island that are available for rent. They have their own supply ship, the MS Oldenburg, which can be used for day trips to Lundy, and this is what we (a party of five from four different countries - Brazil, Japan, the USA and the UK) did on the 14th April.
Visiting Lundy is something I had wanted to...
