Lorna and I attended the RIBI (Rotary in Britain and Ireland) Conference in Edinburgh over the weekend. We were able to take with us Amanda Amaral (Long Term Youth Exchange from Brazil), Hannah Johnson (Ambassadorial Scholar from Washington State, USA), Sasha Chou (Ambassadorial Scholar from Taiwan) and Eriko Iwata (Ambassadorial Scholar from Japan). The tiny island of Lundy can be found a few miles from the Devon coast, not far from Bideford and Ilfracombe. It is owned and managed by the Landmark Trust and they have several properties on the island that are available for rent. They have their own supply ship, the MS Oldenburg, which can be used for day trips to Lundy, and this is what we (a party of five from four different countries - Brazil, Japan, the USA and the UK) did on the 14th April.
