Paul and I really look forward to this event every year. Yardley and Sheldon have for about 30 years held an annual event where they invite students from Aston University out for an evening to one of their homes. 16 students accompanied by a couple of university staff came by minibus to meet the Rotarians and their partners. Great food and company was in evidence and a great evening was had by all. We were able to tell them about Rotaract and get a few signatures for the guild of students groups form that will hopefully mean we can launch another Rotaract Club.
This was a really lovely evening where we were made very welcome and which gave the students a chance to be in a house and learn something of English home life and Rotary and its projects.
