After a morning spent in Nottingham working Paul and I went to collect Donnelle from Aston University to head down to Swindon. The reason for going was the Christmas dinner of the club Paul attends whilst working in Swindon. A kind Rotarian came and collected us from our hotel and took us to the Masonic Hall for the event. The club has made Paul very welcome and they did the same this night for me and Donnelle. A brilliant saxophonist entertained us during the meal and then provided the disco. He certainly worked his magic and got us up dancing for most of the evening whilst he played the saxophone, flute, sang and had us in stitches. He even gave Donnelle the chance to be lifted as in the film Dirty Dancing by a prospective Rotarian - a dream now fulfilled for her! It was an absolutely wonderful evening full of good company, entertainment and humour. All three of us had a wonderful evening with a great club.
