Although only a couple of days since I last saw the Solihull St. Alphege Rotary Club members at their Boxing Evening I took the opportunity (with Paul) to go and hear a group of them talk about their trip to South Africa. You always get a great welcome at the club and tonight was no different. 6 members from Solihull Club also came along for the evening.
The party of 6 who went on the trip shared the history of the Wheelchair Foundation, details of the wheelchair donations made on the trip and of the Rotarians and places visited whilst in South Africa.
The talk was well supported by photos which made the events real and reminded us that it is human beings we help with our generosity. Well done to the club for its support of the Wheelchair Foundation and to the members who entertained us with their comprehensive report on the project and South Africa.
