I managed to get to the Arden School in time for a cup of tea before the District Council meeting. There was a lot of business this time - accounts to approve, a vote for DGN, plans for the future of RIBI alongside information from District Officers. John Crawford was elected as DGN for 2012-13. It looks like clubs will have materials sent out to them to consider re the future of RIBI.
It was good to have James with us again and to have the chance to share with people what is happening with Rotaract and to thank clubs for the support they have given to James and Matt which enabled them to go to Egypt.
It was also good to meet up with Rotarians from around the District (and to have the chance to hand out a few Christmas cards at the same time!).
