A pleasant drive to Fentham Hall resulted in a lovely organ concert. I have only ever been in the small room before so was pleasantly surprised to see a large hall with a stage and the place already full when I got there. Friends from Halesowen and Rowley Regis and Yardley and Sheldon Rotary Clubs also came as well as Chrissy (Inner Wheel Chairman)and Eric Dance. We made a group of almost 30.

The organ came up from under the floor of the stage and we were entertained for almost 2 hours with a wide variety of music. The mirror over the organ showed us just how amazing the organist was at playing three keyboards and changing the sounds constantly. The sounds that he got from the organ were lovely and he had us laughing in places with the sounds of fire engines, car horns etc...

We then went to Albert and Mabs Attwood's for drinks and a bite to eat. Their hospitality was wonderful and Mabs and Adrienne were not phased by 27 of us in their dining room eating a variety of sandwiches, nibbles and cakes. The spread was amazing and we all came away very full and in good spirits from a lovely afternoon of fellowship and fun. It was a lovely way to spend a Sunday afternoon.
