The Victoria House, Royal Leamington Spa, was the venue for the joint Presidents' Evening for Warwick and Leamington Spa Regency Rotary Clubs. As the two Presidents are married to each other it was logical to hold a joint event. Most husbands take their wife out for a romantic meal on their birthday - not Keith, he holds their joint Presidents' Night on Rachel's birthday. At least she had a big group of people to celebrate it with.

The Mayor visited the club to meet the GSE team and then gave them a few of her hours to show them around. 3 other clubs were represented by their Presidents at the meeting - Henley in Arden, Kidderminster and Leamington Spa Regency.
Keith inducted a new member which was great to see who I am sure will enjoy being a member of this club. It was great to meet long established friends again and to see the activities the club is arranging.
A nice way to spend the lunchtime before getting down...

After leaving work later than I wanted and panicking I might not get there in time I found myself at Warwick Rotary Club meeting in time to have a chat to several people before the meeting began.
Thank goodness for the microphone as I wasn't sure my voice would carry the length of the room (after feeling a little croaky for a couple of days) although I daresay a few wished it didn't carry that far!
