The weather forecast was for rain and it was not wrong. Paul took us to our marshalling points and then we had to wait in the rain to cheer the runners as they passed us and ensure the traffic did not hinder them. With me was a Southam 2000 member and another 2 were just up the road from us so a nice conversation kept our minds off the cold until we knew the race would soon be upon us.
