We look forward to this event every year. Geoff, from my club, wanted to set off early so he arrived for 10am but we set off an hour later. The morning started sunny and warm and stayed dry most of the time we were walking with only a few spots of rain. Paul and I participate in the Shipston walk every year - 7 miles of beautiful countryside and Gloucestershire villages. We usually start in the afternoon but this year because we had another event to go to we set off in the morning. At least going in the morning meant we saw far more walkers than our usual amount as we are usually the last to set off.
