Thanks to my husband texting me the postcode (I couldn't find the piece of paper I had written it on) I managed to get to Newbold Comyn Arms in time for the start of the Leamington and Warwick Rotaract Club Meeting directly from work. It was good to catch up with the club and its members as I have not attended since I was District Governor (about 18 months ago). The club is certainly doing well and is as active as I remember it.

This meeting certainly brought back memories of many years ago when I was in Rotaract. It was great to see a couple of new people there who had found the club on the internet and decided to come and see what it was like. The group were very welcoming and certainly were working hard after the main part of the meeting to draw the prospective members into the club's activities.

The Moorings was the venue for the Rotaract Annual Quiz. It was well attended by several Rotary Clubs (at least 7) which was great to see. Some rounds were easier than others but often the easier ones were the ones that in most quizzes I have attended over the years are the hardest. Consequently, our team, made up of me, Paul and David and Sue Butler, did not play our joker on the correct round - in fact we ended up playing it on our worst scoring round!
