Eight of us from Coventry Phoenix Rotary Club met in Southampton on Sunday evening ready for an early start on the Monday. We stayed at the IBIS hotel and had a pleasant meal out together at TGI Friday and met up with Jurgen from the Sailing Trust for a drink as well. Saturday morning began with a 2 mile walk to the ship from our hotel. It was a lovely sight as we got to its dock. Other sponsors were there as well as a group of forces personnel on rehabilitation.
