Atherstone Rotary Club's Interact Inauguration

I just about managed to get to Queen Elizabeth School and Sports College in Atherstone to join the Rotary Club, Interactors and their parents for their charter meeting. Southam College Interact Club Meeting

A short drive in the sunshine bought me to Southam College where I met Jim Sleight and Dave Roberts to attend the Interact Club meeting. This club is sponsored by the 2 Southam Rotary clubs. What was really great to see was the number of members there and to hear of their ideas for fundraising and getting more involved with the community. Stourbridge Interact Club Meeting

A beautiful day made the journey from Nottingham to Stourbridge even better. It was great to meet up with John Dutton and visit the Interact Club at Old Swinford Hospital. A few members were missing because of a trip but it was encouraging to hear all that the club has been doing and its amazing fundraising efforts. I managed to find my way to the Friary School for the Interact Club Meeting without my satnav (which seems to be somewhere but unfortunately not somewhere I can remember at the moment). I arrived in plenty of time and waited in the reception area with 2 poor souls who were there for an interview and obviously trying to pass friendly conversation between themselves (always interesting when you know there are only 2 of you for 1 job!).
