A lovely warm welcvome is always given when you visit Henley-in-Arden Rotary Club and tonight was no exception. Family and guests from charities settled down to a nice meal and good company in the lovely surroundings of the golf club. The purpose of the evening was for the club to make cheque presentations to the chosen charities from last year. It was done in a really nice way. David, Club President, introduced each charity whose representative then gave a few minutes update on their work...

Henley in Arden Golf Club was the venue for the Race Night. The room was full and people were certainly there to enjoy themselves. The organiser of the races was a great guy who entertained all evening and certainly had us all laughing and smiling most of the evening.

A lovely welcome was given to us from a club with a really warm attitude. A strength of this club is its concern for the well being of its members and their families. It has plenty of activities in place and some really good causes are supported. It was lovely to spend the evening with the club who were generous in their listening as...

Paul and I were invited to join Henley-in-Arden for their handover lunch on the Countess of Evesham, a restaurant boat based at Stratford on the River Avon on Sunday 5th July. Although the clouds looked a little threatening as we gathered the sun came out to give a very pleasant afternoon.
The meal was lovely, made all the better by the beautiful scenery we passed and the really pleasant ambience of the conversations and humour within the boat. There were hundreds of beautiful dragonflies...
