This is a meeting that requires a lot of integrity and consideration as a draft budget is drawn up for 2011/12 to be considered by District Executive and then District Council. We are very fortunate that our team of Treasurers and Officers question everything that is asked for or suggested in the budget. Managed to get to meeting on time despite having to rush home first to cook tea for our student. A really 'profitable' meeting seeing just how much money we raised for charity last year and how we managed to save money in many places. Not being financially trained I never find the account sheets easy to read but that is what is so good about working with this committee as they explain everything so well so that at least whilst there I understand it. I am hoping Executive and District Council...
