I managed to be the first to arrive as I did not realise the event started at 9.30am and not 9.00am. Never mind! Having worried about whether the event was going to be on it was pleasing to see a good turnout for it. It was pleasant to be inside on such a hot day even if it meant missing the England football match. Over 150 people came to the National Motorcycle Museum for the District Handover organised by Brian Fiddiman and Peter Taylor of the Solihull Club. We were well looked after by the staff of the museum and the food was good although I was too nervous to eat much.
