Although always a rush from work I did manage to get to the committee meeting just in time. A few new members and for me an easy change to member and not leader of a committee. The main focus was the seminar in July. We all have our areas to talk about briefly and then discussion groups to follow. We all now have preparations to make for the evening and hope people come.

Neil Yorke is always generous and opens up his offices for us to hold the finance committee meetings at. The 2 meetings held in the year are always very detailed and hold a lot of discussion about our responsibility for the money given to District to manage by members through the capitation.
The purpose of tonight's meeting was to look at the proposed budget for 2010-11. David Tippin, Alan Wheatley and Neil Yorke put a lot of preparation into the budget before the meeting. The committee's...
