A very pleasant surprise for me this year was the availability of vegetarian sausages for the baps that are often served up before the assembly starts which I admit was very welcome. After the concert the night before the early morning was a bit of a challenge. However, we made it in time for a coffee and the lads could have bacon baps (I look forward to the day they provide an egg one for vegetarians). It was nice to almost be back as an ordinary Rotarian but taking on a post meant I did have to make a small contribution to a break out group.
