Oh my goodness, where has the time gone, it’s finally here
The moment some wanted and others probably feared
The instant when the chain passed from Peter’s neck to mine
And another worthy name is added to the Past District Governor’s line.
The start of one year and the end of the last
As we gaze to the future and let go of the past
But before that year slips from now into memory

296 people attended the District 1060 and RIBI joint handover at the National Motorcycle Museum on Sunday 28th June 2009. Several people took advantage of the free admission to the motorcycle museum itself whilst incoming and outgoing RIBI Presidents and District 1060 District Governors climbed on a bike for photographs (much to the worry of museum staff).
